UF Health Women’s Advantage | Free seminar and luncheon Thursday March 19, 2015

March 16, 2015 10:03 am

As our age increases, so do many of our health risks.

Are you over 50? Then you should be screened for colorectal cancer. As the third most common cancer in the U.S., it affects men and women of all racial and ethnic groups. It can occur in the colon or rectum and often has no warning signs – so the earlier it is diagnosed, the better.

As we age, we are also more prone to other colorectal problems, including bowel incontinence. While usually not a serious medical problem, it can interfere with daily life and lead many to avoid social activities for fear of embarrassment. Don’t be caught in the dark. Join our free luncheon seminar to find out more about these conditions and how our UF Health colorectal surgeons can help. The speaker will be Atif Iqbal, M.D.
