Mark your calendars for the University of Florida Foundation’s annual Homecoming fundraiser, Get Up and Give! The campaign begins Thursday, Nov. 7 at 8 a.m. and ends Friday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m.
In spirit of UF’s push to become a top 10 public university, we are asking Gators everywhere to donate $10 to UF. With state funding and tuition generating just under 20 percent of UF’s revenue, the university relies heavily on support from private donations. Every gift makes a difference.
To make a gift during the 36-hour Get Up and Give campaign, visit GetUpAndGive.ufl.edu. Gifts made can be allocated to any University of Florida fund, scholarship, program or department.
We invite you to stop by our tents at the Homecoming Parade directly across from Library West on University Avenue and in front of Powell Hall on University Avenue at the corner of Gale Lemerand Drive where we will be collecting donations and handing out Gator items.
