UF School of Theatre and Dance Presents Brighton Beach Memoirs
Directed by Judith Williams. Set in 1937 Brooklyn, Neil Simon’s beloved comedy offers a semi-autobiographical glimpse into the life of a Jewish-American family through the eyes of 15-year-old Eugene Jerome. Brighton Beach Memoirs is a poignant coming-of-age story of Eugene’s encounters with a crowded household, an imminent war, and most excitingly, girls.
