Did you know that HealthStreet offers FREE blood pressure screenings every day? May is National Blood Pressure Education Month. Stop in to receive your blood pressure check and be informed about blood pressure and how it impacts your overall health. HealthStreet is located at 2401 SW Archer Road (UF Building 0892).

HealthStreet is your community center. If you would like to host an event (that is free to the public) or have suggestions on activities you would like to see at HealthStreet, contact Noni Graham, HealthStreet Project Coordinator, by email (nonig@ufl.edu) or phone (352-294-4884).

What is HealthStreet?

HealthStreet is a community-based effort that works every day to reduce disparities in healthcare and research by linking the medically underserved to medical and social services and opportunities to participate in research. Community Health Workers (CHWs) meet residents at health fairs, special events, bus stops, parks, laundromats, grocery stores, libraries, and other locations in North Central Florida. Community members can also visit HealthStreet to access free services, including health screenings, use of computers, classes, and many more. Our aim is to improve relationships between community members, health care providers, community organizations, and researchers in the University of Florida community.
