2013 HIPAA & Privacy Training

To All Employees or Volunteers in the UF Academic Health Center:

The deadline for UF employees to complete the annual HIPAA and Privacy Training and Confidentiality Statement Renewal is February 28, 2013.  Failure to complete the requirements by this date will result in disciplinary action.

If you’re not sure if you have completed the training for this year, log in to your MyUFL account and check:

My Self Service > Training & Development > Training Summary.

Your HIPAA training expiration date should be 12/31/13.  (Note: The expiration date for those who completed Research training in response to the 10/31/12 DDD is in the process of being changed manually.)

 

If applicable, please complete ONE of the following training modules (not both): 

If you’re involved in human-subject research in any way, complete HIPAA & Privacy – Research:

If you are not involved in research, complete HIPAA & Privacy General Awareness:

Complete a new Confidentiality Statement – go to http://privacy.health.ufl.edu/confidential/index.shtml  and follow the brief instructions.
