MEMBERSHIP
The members of the Academic & Professional Assembly (APA) include all TEAMS A employees in the Technical, Executive, Administrative and Managerial Support pay plan (formerly Administrative & Professional career professionals), and faculty holding titles not represented in the UF Faculty Senate.
PURPOSE
The purpose of APA is to promote representation, recognition,
professional networking, and university and community service
opportunities for its members.
APA shall:
- Attend to all professional issues that affect its members;
- Serve by appointment on university-wide committees;
- Be the representative voice of its members to the university administration and other constituent UF Associations;
- Serve as a professional advisory and feedback resource to university administration and other groups as appropriate on matters of policy and operations that affect its members and/or the execution of their institutional duties; and
- Foster collegial relationships among its members and all members of the university community toward the common goal of promoting professionalism, creativity and leadership.
