Call to Order—Diane Craig, President

Approval of Minutes from March 2007 Meeting—Approved

APA President's Report—Outgoing president, Diane Craig, reviewed the activities of the past year and gave thanks to the APA board members, committee chairs, and APA sponsor Kyle Cavanaugh. Success is due to the hard work of these individuals and the programs they initiated. Acknowledged the generosity of Cavanaugh in terms of time, money and responsiveness. Highlights of the year included full day homecoming holiday, inclusion/request for input from other university organizations such as the Faculty Senate (shared governance) and Healthy Gators/Environmental Health & Safety (non-smoking initiative), as well as a ongoing column for the APA president in InsideUF, the university's weekly publication for faculty, staff and students. Other accomplishments or new inititatives include Lunch Forums, a revised APA Web site (still needs work though), automated email list updated nightly, new member welcome message and tracking nominations of APA members to University committees.

Program: Ron Lester introduced the slate of officers for next year. Voting begins at the conclusion of this meeting and runs for about one week.

Old Business—A draft of the survey of APA membership is near completion. Survey will be done later in the year.

New Business—Allan Preston announced plans to hold a cell phone Lunch Forum. Christine Schoaff announced a seminar on bullying in the workplace with speaker Jackie Resnick.

The next APA meeting will be in September 2007.
