APA Breakfast Meeting: Social Media as part of UF Rising to National Preeminence

September 18, 2014 2:38 am

The University of Florida is consistently ranked in the top 10 social media savvy institutions among our peers in higher education.

Our September program, which takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 8:30 a.m., brings three campus experts on the topic to show and tell all things social media at our university. Whether you are up-to-date on UF’s social media affairs or you don’t know hashtags from hashbrowns, this panel presentation promises to shed some light on UF’s social media prowess and how our leaders are using these tools to move our university forward.

Panelists include:

  • Todd Sanders, Director of Social Media at UF
  • Bruce Floyd, Social Media Manager of the University of Florida Athletic Association, Inc./Florida Gators
  • Lyrissa Lidsky, UF Law Professor specializing in mass media law, First Amendment Law and Social Media.
  • Nicole Yucht, Director of Marketing at University Relations, will give an update on the university’s new branding campaign prior to the panel.
